These body designs are not suited to dealing with the point loads exerted by the pads of traditional roof racks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur roof racks distribute the load along the entire length of the side rails, preferably on the side edge of the vehicle where the wall and roof meet, where manufacturers use high-density foam to strengthen the edges. The side rails are bonded in situ using high-quality, modern urethane products similar to those used to construct motorhome bodies.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStainless steel tech screws are sometimes used, but only to anchor the roof rack in place while the urethane sets.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have various attachments available as extras.
