Built initially to operate on solar power in tropical regions such as India and Africa, the VRV175’s efficient design allows for easy connection to your 12 or 24-volt house battery. You can also add a solar panel and controller to run it entirely on renewable solar energy.

The VRV175 is a modern alternative to outdated 3-way ammonia fridges, which generate excessive heat, lack efficiency, and face certification challenges under current gas regulations. Featuring separate fridge and freezer doors for improved efficiency and thick tropical-grade insulation, it reduces compressor usage more than any other fridge.
