ALKO suspension upgrade reviews

Hi Karin,

We just wanted to thank you guys for all your help with our upgrade.

You, for your patience with my questions and for your quick responses and efficiency, and your staff for their help with the installation and explanations of the work done and problems found, etc, and the photos of them.

After leaving, I re-tightened all the cabinetry, etc, and we did quite a few k's over rough roads, without the slightest bit of movement. Whereas before they would definitely have moved, and screws would have come loose etc

While it did tow pretty good before, it now tows even better. 

But the biggest bonus is the 85mm extra ground clearance we got, which means I can now get in our driveway without scraping the shit out of my water tank brackets. 

So, many thanks again. Very happy with the result, and will be recommending you to anyone in need.

Just wanted to add my support to the long list of customers that have found the spring upgrade offered by Vantage RV to be a game changer, in terms of tow-ability and ride height to UK carvans. Couple that with the fact that "things" stayed in place, thanks to the superior ride of our Bailey Pegasus Rimini caravan since the spring install, right throughout our return trip to Levin. Additionally, I cant say enough about the service offered. Karin in the office was the most pleasent of people to deal with...even organised a space on site for us to camp the night prior to the spring upgrade. Johan is so knowledgable on all things caravan/motorhome, and when it came to our caravan, attention to detail was evident from beining to end. Our thanks to the above and all the Techs at Vantage RV. Happy to recommend to any fellow caravaners.

Hey Karin,

Yeah it tows noticeably smoother. Like night and day to what it was really. Making me think I need to replace the shocks / springs on my Pajero! Now the truck bangs more than the caravan. Yeah the bracing came out easy and we loaded up most of our stuff on the weekend to head away (in the rain unfortunately) on Friday. Looking forward to my wife being able to experience how much smoother it is.

Good job done on my caravan Suspension, underfloor above the tanks & Electric Brakes. Good service & knowledge of caravans & duratorque suspension & additional springs, but please be careful with glue on your gloves as some was left on both sides of my caravan which I had to carefully scrape off & polish out.

Huge shout out to the team. Just had the rubbers replaced and spring upgrade carried out on my Swift caravan. Could not have gone smoother, great results. Caravan tows better than it ever has, the trip up from the Manawatu to have the work carried out was certainly worth it. Can not recommend highly enough. Thank you for everything.

Took my English caravan for new rubbers and suspension upgrade. Easy drop off, kept me fully updated on their progress and work carried out. Collected next day and again very easy pick up. I am extremely pleased with the up grade which has made a significate difference to the caravans handling and ground clearance. Vantage RV replaced the durotorgue suspension rubbers, installed a coil spring suspension upgrade and repaired internal cabinet movement damage. We are super pleased with the work you have done on repairing our caravan. We spent Thursday cleaning it and kept noticing how well the work inside has been done. And also how clean it was left with no collateral damage to surfaces. We also want to thank you All for your friendly and professional interactions when I came over to view and discuss the ongoing work. And especially, you Karin, for your prompt and always relevant communications. Well done Vantage RV. The suspension upgrade has lifted the caravan by about 15 cm and the drive home felt smoother, but a trip away will be needed to experience the full improvement. They also installed four gussets to support the body of the caravan. We are looking forward to many more years of trouble free caravanning.
