Contents of your package:

First steps
You will need a trolly jack or something similar just to make fitting easier, a pop rivet gun, some sockets and spanners
Ensure the passenger step is on the left of the vehicle and the driver step is on the right. The tight curve should be facing forward.
To start, place the step on a trolley jack and jack it up to hold it in place. The central 25mm angle iron at the rear of the alloy tread plate fits inside the space between the metal sill and the inner sill pillar, under the cab door. It is usually a nice, snug fit; you may need to remove some of the underseal in the gap.
Setting up the sill flange on the step
Once the step is fully jacked in place, test-fit the large sill flange bracket. (shown in the image above) This bolts onto the inside of the 40 x 3mm flat bar through the slotted holes, with 2 x M6 bolts on each side. There should be plenty of play, which will be lost when the bolts are tightened up fully. Do not fully tighten the bolts yet, so that you can adjust the bracket and step. Adjust the bracket so that it fits snugly inside the sill, and remove any large blobs of underseal on the vehicle chassis that may be preventing a good, snug fit.
Fitting the sill flange
Once you are happy with the location of the step and the bracket is hard up against the sill boxing, mark, and drill the 5 pop-rivet holes (5mm) through the flange into the vehicle sill box. Pull back or remove the flange and apply a generous amount of a high-quality mechanical adhesive/sealant to cover the full contact area. Fit the flange bracket with pop rivets, allowing the excess sealant to ooze out as the pop rivets tighten up. Apply some sealant to the centre of the rivets to make them watertight. Reattach the step to the sill flange.
Final adjustments
Looking from the front of the vehicle check that the step is level. Once you are happy with the angle, fit the smaller rear bracket (see bracket image below, the left and right brackets are the same shape).
Bolt the bracket to the end of the step frame with M8 bolts and adjust with the slotted holes as required to achieve a good fit on the underbody. Drill 2/4 holes for the pop rivets into the vehicle body at the top of the bracket. Apply sealer and rivet into place.
Do a final adjustment, then tighten up all the bolts and nuts.
Repeat the procedure on the other side.
