This water heater is easily installed and operated, with a high-volume recovery rate of 40 litres/hour. The unit has a 12V igniter and can operate on gas only. The flick of a switch controls the power source. The tanks are made from high-tensile steel, are porcelain-lined, and have been pressure tested. They come with a sacrificial anode designed to protect the tank from corrosion, prolonging the unit's life. However, the anodes need to be replaced during servicing. The suburban retains heat well, as it has been fitted with a copolymer-insulated jacket. The water heater is reliable, energy-efficient, and easy to maintain.
