The EP Solar MPPT-type controller is a 30 Amp solar controller. It is used for off-grid solar systems and performs with all our fridges.

MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is, as far as we know, currently the most efficient type of solar controller and operates best under all environmental conditions.

This is a professional, high-quality 30-amp off-grid solar controller, ideally suited for motor-homes, caravans, and small off-grid homes or baches.
This model allows the loads to be switched separately on the positive terminal, this eliminates potential faults and issues associated with continuous earth terminals in AV splitters, TV satellite systems, and FM splitters on vehicles.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Recommended cable diameter from the solar panel should be no less than 4mm2
  • The solar controller should always be fitted in a dust-free dry environment.
  • Always run loads from the load terminals on the right side of the solar controller, unless the draw exceeds 20 amps. That way, you can always monitor how much energy you generate and use.

Shipping is calculated at checkout, Large items like fridges are shipped to your nearest Mainfreight depot to keep costs down, smaller items are shipped with Posthaste and calculated based on your postal code.
