Predator AGM deep-cycle batteries are ideal for recreational and leisure applications where reliability is paramount. These batteries have thicker, full-frame grids made of high-purity lead. The VRLA construction also lends to a low self-discharge rate for longevity and reliability when power-hungry appliances are in use. Predator AGM deep-cycle batteries are available in 9Ah to 260Ah sizes to suit various leisure applications and power requirements.

When comparing batteries, look at their weight. Heavy batteries will last longer and be more reliable. Also, make sure that you compare Amp/hr rates @ C10 on all batteries.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A charge system that maintains the battery at 100 % daily.
  • Battery voltage at rest should not drop below 12.5 volt on a regular basis.
  • When used in conjunction with one of our fridges, the solar system should be able to produce about 36 Amps/hrs per day even on a dull day. However, if this cannot be achieved, alternative charge methods should be implemented.

Shipping is calculated at checkout, Large items like fridges are shipped to your nearest Mainfreight depot to keep costs down, smaller items are shipped with Posthaste and calculated based on your postal code.
